Summary[
edit
] Description: Sea cucumber and sea pens (resembling old-fashioned quill pens) on the sandy bottom beneath Ostrich Bay in Dyes Inlet in central Puget Sound. This photo was taken as part of a habitat survey within the Jackson Park Housing Complex Superfund site, a former Navy ammunition depot where past waste disposal practices led to contamination of sediments in Ostrich Bay.
