Name is: Spotted Worm Sea Cucumber, from the Sea Cucumber family. Looks like a long sea cucumber (1 meter at least) but the end has hairy tentacles that move non stop. Beautiful creature.
This species is about 8mm long and appears attached to the alga at one end, (towards bottom of photo)- hard to be certain because of tidal movement. The green alga was attached to the side of a trench which at low tide looked about 40cm deep. The red critter was about 15cm below the water surface. I'm unsure what this is and therefore what Phylum to search through. I have added a 'context' image and another which is very poor quality but shows a slightly different angle
