Adult male, Note papillomatous dermatitis on the tail, back feen and face of the lizard. In green lizards these signs are often associted with viral pappilomatous desaese caused by specific Papillomaviruses. No diagnotsic tests were prformed in this particular lizard

Adult female. This population in Avan is extinct due to the habitat loss. Locally lacerta media was abundant in a wet grass and in wooded areas surrounded small ponds and drainage lines. After massive deforestation, drying water bodies, and privatization of this lands Lacerta media got dispalced by somewhat similarly looking but smaller and more dry-resistant Lacerta stigata.

Although I saw many of these lizards in Shvanidzor. One the photo was presented to me as the locality lizard in 2005 by Raf Knyazchyan.

Pretty sure of ID; looks right, & I brute-forced all Lacertidae in Turkey & this was one of very few in range and only one even remotely close in appearance.
