This Eastern Cottontail rabbit appears in front of a bush, just outside the Admission Center. It seems to be eating something and cautiously checking me out as well.
Small grey bunny seen predominantly on campus. Fur is one monotonous shade of light grey and they do not come in much variety in this area. Eyes are black and bead-like. They are quick moving and evasive.
We saw several what appeared to be baby rabbits within a few minutes close to sundown. They all seemed to be headed toward the creek. This one I saw while on the other side of the creek from it and it turned and ran into the thicket.
