Small spring salamander. Found and caught within strong perennial spring along Bullhead Creek. Spring site had alternating cobble stone and sand substrate and flows approximately 200 m before meeting Bullhead Creek. Photos taken.

I work as a tour guide at Bull Shoals Caverns in the town of Bull Shoals Arkansas. I rarely see these particular salamanders, but this year I've already seen them twice in one of the pools at the back of the cave. I took these particular pictures last year. Sorry that the photos are so blurry. I was using my camera phone and it didn't focus too well in the low light of the cave.
