edit] Description: English: The Great Mormon, a papilionid butterfly, is known to mud puddle frequently, especially on hot, humid and sunny days. This interesting activity helps them obtain and nutrients and dissolved minerals from water, which they, then, concentrate in their bodies to nourish not only the developing male gametes(sperms) , but also the zygote(embryo) formed after fertilization.
