Are these two different kinds of roly polies? I've been observing them both a lot at my sit spot. The slightly larger one (in these pictures) displays the rolling-up technique. The other slightly smaller one never does. It also has more of a dull grey-brown finish whereas the first one is more polished looking. Are they different invertebrates?

I have seen bugs like this all my life, but never known what they are. It seems they are pill bugs, but other than knowing that the Common Pill Bug is introduced, and often abundant, in California coastal areas, I am unsure what other species I might need to differentiate it from. This one was in a restroom.
