Description:
2009.08.02 Austria, Upper Austria, district Freistadt (spruce monoculture forest, 800 m AMSL).Flowering from june till august.Common, in Austria not native (it is a Western European/Atlantic species) but sown on purpose in nature with the aim of "enhancing" the native flora (which of course is in fact distorting natural habitats). This plant however is at least not invasive; it has meanwhile become a part of Austrian flora - and it isn't significantly damaging natural habitats.German name: Purpur-FingerhutID: Fischer & al., Exkursionsflora (2008 3rd)
