I'm going to guess here that this could be Lasius flavus in that hope that others may confirm or correct me. (Thanks Furryscaly!)I don't know enough about ants to differentiate species (any input from people who know would be appreciated!), but I do enjoy uncovering and observing their amazing societies and behaviors.
