Found in India and Sri Lanka.Trees., 5-8mts tall, Leaves 7-12x 4-8cm, ovate, elliptic, base uniqually cordate, white wooly beneath, glabrous above; Flowers 6-8cm across, white, axillary, solitary or 2-3 flowered cymes. Capsules 7x3-5 cm, pyriform, acutely angled, rusty, seeds orbicular, compressed, winged. Leaves are used to make meals plates, wood is used for furniture.It is photographed at Penchala kona of Eastren ghats.
