Description:
Jenolan Caves, New South Wales -- on rocky limestone ridge above caves in vicinity of Lucas Rocks.This species has recently been subdivided into 9 vars. See Thompson, I.R. (2004) Taxonomic studies of Australian Senecio (Asteraceae): 2. The shrubby, discoid species and the allied radiate species Senecio linearifolius. Muelleria 20: 90-91 [from search on the species binomial in Aust. Index Plant Names, at www.anbg.gov.au/cpbr/databases/apni-search-full.html ]But not having the Muelleria article at hand, I don't know which var. these Jenolan plants fall into.
