2010.11.01 Lower Austria, district Gnserndorf (Nanni-Au, March nature reserve, 143 m AMSL).Still shot of the alder carr video shown here.Besides alder other trees resistant to wet conditions feel at home there, especially several Salix species. Most of the leaves you can see however are of Acer campestre who prefers dryer places and only grows on the rim of the carr.German name of tree: Schwarz-Erle, of habitat: Schwarzerlen-Bruchwald
