Image of Cribrarula Strand 1929

Description:

Holotype, Australian Museum, AMS-C 91000. Type locality: Fish Rock, New South Wales, Australia. Shell size: 35.15 x 22.10 x 18.25 mm. Photo by F. Moretzsohn, 2001. Note that the dried animal seen on the photo was digested to recover the radula and DNA (degraded because of preservation in formaline), therefore, the specimen is now empty. The catalog number written on the shell was accidentally removed, as explained on page 12 of the original description.
