Description:
Today we went on an iris tour to the Negev Desert in S Israel. On the way we found a lovely field full of Gladiolus atroviolaceus. This species is rather rare in Israel and it was a delight to find so many plants growing together. In between there were few pink flowered Gladiolus italicus specimens.
