Image of Quercus microphylla Née
Description:
somewhat common scrub on dry slope of narrow canyon in deeply eroded escarpment of volcanic tuff forming continental divide. Massive rock hodoos (the Monks) makes this area incredibly scenic in addition to richly diverse botanically.
