Los Osos Valley, south of Morro Bay. Shows Arctostaphylos morroensis 8' high , rough sheddy bark. Note that it does not form a burl at the base of stem. A non-spreading species. Assoc species: Ceanothus lompocensis, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Quercus agrifolia, Salvia mellifera, Ericameria ericoides, Acmispon glaber (=Lotus scoparius). Quad name: Cayucos. Quad number: 132B. Reference to map: 5.
