Description:
Rosaceae. Shrub with alternate leaves. The leaves are divided into leaflets greater than six and are pinnate. Lastly, every node has a set of thorns. These traits will get you to swamp rose in Chadde's guide. This specimen was found in Bath pond in the water. It was surrounded by rushes and cattails. It was also close to a buttonbush. Approximately 2m tall.
