Description:
Found on a wall by a light, to which it had probably been attracted to the night before. Of the two Gigadema species in Central Australia, this is mandibulare because of the puncture pattern between the elytral striae (changing from biserial at the base to densely irregular at the apex (not visible in the photo but is there -trust me!)
