Description:
Sex: Male (top) Female (Bottom) Size: 1cm Mate guarding behavior of the Endangered Salt Creek Tiger Beetle (Cicindela nevadica lincolniana). This was a very late record for the species which is usually only out for a few weeks in June, and sometimes the first week of July. The lincolniana subspecies of Cicindela nevadica is only found on a few small salt flats in Lancaster County, Nebraska
