Description:
There are probably three (or even four?) subspecies of Barn Swallow found in Korea gutturalis (presumably most common), mandschurica (uncommon), saturata (??), and tytleri (rather rare and very red below). The individual in your image looks like an intergrade between ordinary gutturalis and tytleri, and is therefore likely a mandschurica. / Nial Moores
