Description:
Orthaga thyrisalis (Walker, 1858, to MV light, Blackheath, NSW, 13/14 January 2009 ANIC holds specimen of a closely similar species, labeled Orthaga sp. There are no obvious consistent distinguishing characters between these specimens and O. thyrisalis other than average size (the undescribed species being larger) - on this basis, this specimen could belong to an undescribed species close to O. thyrisalis.
