I am seeking confirmation that this is a juvenile Pied stilt that possibly has some Black Stilt hybrid genes. It weighs 105 gms and is 23cm from tip of beak to end of tail. I found it while bike riding. No stilt nests are known in the immediate vicinity though they are very occasionally seen in the area but more commonly in late spring early summer.
