Image of Abisara fylla Westwood (1851)
Description:
The Beauty in full open wings a rare to visualize. Banded Tree Brown is usually found in the woodland. The brown wing color offers good camouflage for this woodland species. As suggested by its common name, this species has a broad band in the fore wing and a series of submarginal eye-spots on the underside of the fore wing and hind wing. The band may be of white or yellow color
