Description:
Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus, just outside perimeter fence on Merton Road side. Habitat: Solanum mauritianum. Several adults observed. Plant damage very evident. The species is being reared in the grounds of the Landcare Research building (on the Tamaki Campus) as a biological control agent for Solanum mauritianum. Identification: Gargaphia decoris Drake, 1931.
