Image of Straw-colored fruit bat
Description:
Yeah, the picture useless (I mean, I guess you can see it's dusk...). I mostly just took it to save the time and location where I first noticed the stream of probably 100's of bats. The stream seemed endless the entire time I was walking within sight of it (probably 10-20 minutes) they seemed to be flying from somewhere behind the New Acropol Hotel towards somewhere in the general direction of the mountain. Some swung off in other directions occasionally, but for the most part, they all seemed to be flying on one course. I don't have great depth perception, particularly at night, but I'd guess they were between 6 and 18 inches in body length.
