Image of Pallid bat

Description:

This bat was found inside the office of the shop building, on the floor (carpet) under a bookcase. I'm guessing that once it got on the carpet (apparently they will forage on the ground) it may not have been able to get unstuck from it; just a guess. I placed it outside at some elevation hoping it would fly off at its convenience. It was later gone, but I don't know its fate for certain. BIG bat for around here.
