Image of Serangium maculigerum Blackburn 1892
Description:
These have exploded in number and very populous now. There were none that I could find in spring this year. So the white fly population exploded. Was concerned that the hard frosts over winter had killed them all. But they came back, and now all the whitefly have basically gone. As one would expect, there are now many more of these on the trees compared to last year, as their population exploded as large number of whitefly to eat. No doubt the population will no decrease as they run out of food to eat.
