Sharp-tailed Sandpiper adult Village Creek Drying Beds Tarrant Co., Texas 18 May 1991 This was the first Texas record of this species. Most lower 48 U.S. records are fall juvenile birds, but this was a spring adult. It only remained two days. There are now (2012) three records of Sharp-tailed Sandpiper in Texas.
