Juvenile Levantine Viper (Macrovipera lebetina obtusa) hiding under stone around Gheshlagh dam near Sanandaj city. Levantine Viper is a venomous snake. This viper is often recognized by its heavy body and length. It is one of the most wide ranging reptiles in Iran.
