Image of Calosoma (Carabosoma) marginale Casey 1897
Description:
A large black beetle (unknown ID) was observed in the south side of Corpus Christi, Texas. The beetle moved very fast inside a plastic box, so I cooled it a bit to photograph. Once it warmed up, it started to move fast again, so I released it. It was about 40 mm long. Any help with ID will be appreciated.
