Description:
I am unsure what the little white insect on this Black-eyed Susan stem is. Based on @cgritz's suggestion, I believe it might be the larva of a Mealybug Destroyer. It was among red aphids, which all disappeared in short order after this creature appeared. 84F, partly sunny, humid.
