"A really sad-looking specimen (end of life?), about 1/2"" long, found on giant kelp with hydroids. ""Fronds"" looked eaten away. Does anyone know what the sulphur yellow dots are that we sometimes see on both D. venustus and D. subramosus? Are they a parasite?"
