Description:
Male. ID of certain specimens from Fundy confirmed by DNA analysis (Guelph Bio-Bus and Barcode of Life Project) and other of the specimens were also recorded by voice (NB Museum, cf Dr Donald F. McAlpine). For North America, this species is common and widespread in the park and much of southern New Brunswick, at the very least, including Kouchibouguac National Park as well. It is also known from the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland (cf Bug Guide).
