Description:
Found in the foothills of The Himalayas. Female has mostly duller plumage while the male has distinct blue and black plumage . Distinct blue color on the upperside of tail coverts and wing bar. Bill is strong and tough, eyes are red in color. Extremely arboreal, doesn't descend on the ground and prefers foraging on fruit bearing trees.Asian fairy-bluebird is very good example of sexual dimorphism among birds.
