Description:
Vast numbers of these came in on the tide overnight, many 10s of thousands between Himatangi and Foxton Beach, none with a sac bigger than the last segment of my baby finger. Vehicles driving on the beach were accompanied by a continuous pop, pop, pop of bursting sacs.
