Description:
This is a subspecies of the Little Striped Whiptail found in the Trans-Pecos region of southwest Texas. Long, slender body with a blue head and long blue tail but smaller than most other whiptails. No spots,seven alternating light and dark stripes on back. External ear visible. Found it in rocky habitat with lots of creosote, yuccas, and acacia.
