Description:
We saw a small flock (6 birds?) of Orange-throated Tanagers, foraging in the cecropia trees along the road adjacent to the Maycú Reserve in Nangaritza, Ecuador. There were calling, but apparently not as noisily as they can sometimes be. This was my fifth time in the area looking for them, but my first time seeing them!
