Description:

Description: English: A female Italian sparrow near Naples. Italian sparrows in southern mainland Italy show some more traits of Spanish sparrows than in northern birds, as this one does very subtly being a female (wing bars and perhaps streaking), but breeding birds are essentially all genetically little different from any other Italian sparrows.
