Summary[edit] Description: Mixed-age hemlocks and hardwoods, Lycoming County, within the Bark Cabin Natural Area of Tiadaghton State Forest. In the foreground is a large (possibly old-growth) witch-hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), a shrublike understory tree commonly found in the Allegheny Plateau forests.
