Thamnophilus doliatus - Barred Antshrike XC484686

Description:

Summary[edit] Description: English: Two or (more likely) three Barred Antshrikes are vocalizing. The ani-like call notes were given by an individual with female plumage, but was likely a juvenile. Images of this individual were captured on video, and uploaded to Youtube and shared on an eBird list. Although the species is common at this location and many other nearby locations, I have never heard this ani-like call before. bird-seen:yes playback-used:no Common name: Barred Antshrike Type: call, song Genus: Thamnophilus Species: doliatus Location: San Antonio de Oriente, Francisco Morazán Department (Zamorano Univ.
