Senecio hydrophilus—Alkali Marsh Ragwort. The Latin name is right, this plant loves wet places. The common name is right also, the plant likes alkali seeps and such. The literature mentions that ray flowers may be few or nonexistant for this species. Found thoughout the American West. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
