Description:
Summary[edit] Description: A bumble bee, probably Bombus vosnesenskii, browsing on a sage, probably Salvia clevelandii at Ulistac Natural Area in the City of Santa Clara. We can see its wings are worn at the trailing edges, which indicates that this bee has been around a while. A subsequent photo showed no pollen collection on its hind leg, and no evidence of a corbicula to carry said pollen—this suggest that this is a male.
