Summary[edit] Description: An image of a Mexican butterwort, Pinguicula agnata, from a personal collection. There are many varieties of Pinguicula agnata with different shapes and sizes. This particular plant is thought to be two years old, most likely grown from a leaf cutting. It has light bluish purple flowers 3/4 of a centimeter across. Date: 27 September 2006. Source: Own work.
