Stipa viridula — Matt Lavin 004

Image of green needlegrass

Description:

Stipa viridula is common in the sagebrush steppe in Montana but apparently not so much in the vegetation surround the Pryor Mountains. So far, this native bunchgrass has been observed only roadside and not out in the sagebrush steppe with high native plant cover.
