Andropogon gerardii - big bluestem - 48666362826
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Big bluestem occurs in the Rosebud Battlefield but is only sporadically common and co-occurs with timothy grass, smooth brome, and intermediate wheatgrass, three introduced grasses that dominate much of the lower slopes in this area and whose abundance is indicative of a long history of overgrazing, range "improvement," and other similar high-impact disturbances.
