Description:

Summary[edit] Description: English: Tree Snail - Liguus fasciatus, Everglades National Park, Homestead, Florida. These come in all sorts of interesting colors and patterns. Collectors almost wiped them out in the past, and now they are protected in places like Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Tree Snails are hermaphrodites. Their courtship consists of two snails stroking each others' eyestalks for hours, then fertilizing each other. Isn't nature wonderful?. Date: 7 December 2015, 13:16:40.
