Summary[edit] Description: English: PLATE 21 Illustrating subspecific character in simum of larger teeth than cottoni. Skulls of simum photographed with short focus lens and not strictly comparable with those of cottoni, which were taken by a lens having great depth of focus. This distortion is well shown in simum by the carrying forward of the premaxillae as far as the tip of the nasals. Fig. 1.
