- 5272 – Herpetogramma bipunctalis – Southern Beet Webworm Moth (10298242366)
Description:
Mothing Night 10/11/13. Ken Childs helped me to notice the two spots on the abdomen and atypical wing posture, or I might never have found the ID on this one/got it right. Ken confirmed I had it right after all kinds of hints. He gave me big clues like it was a Crambid. That meant only looking through Hodges # 4716 - 5488. Then, when I got a guess wrong, he told me I was within 50 numbers of the correct ID. It was fun.
