Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Probably Pouched Coral Fern, Gleichenia dicarpa. Along the midrib of the upperside of the leaf are scattered hairs. The leaf segments are more or less rounded and convex above. The rachis supporting the leaves has brown matted star-like hairs, and the white bits are perhaps ciliate scales. Strahan Tasmania Australia, January 2012. Gleichenia microphylla also grows in this area. By contrast, its pinnules are without hairs, and its leaf segments are oblong to triangular and flat.
