Description: English: Solanum melissarum (Bohs nom. nov.) re-sprouting tree has a lobed juvenile trunk leaf. This is not illustrated in the original type specimen for Solanum melissarum held at Kew Herbarium. The plant is in Laurie Meadows (private collector) remnant Cyphomandra clade collection at Helensville, New Zealand, and was photographed in December 2012. The seed originated from seed originally gifted to Professor Lynn Bohs, and determined by her at that time as Cyphomandra divaricata (Bohs collection number 94-28). Bohs seed gift was collected by M.
